The First Time I Taught Laravel

Moving from writing code alone to explaining it to others changed the way I learn.

I remember the final session of a Laravel course run by the Google Developer Student Club at Al-Razi University with WIST Academy. It was my first time teaching and presenting a class. I left feeling that I had learned as much as I had explained.

The challenge was explaining, not typing

When working alone, it is easy to skip a difficult detail and return to it later. In front of students, I had to organize the ideas, make each step clear, and anticipate questions.

What stayed with me

Teaching helped me see Laravel as a connected system rather than a list of commands. It also reminded me how much a learning community matters. That first short experience encouraged me to share what I learn.
